Order Policies & Terms

Thank you for choosing Pop N Treats V Sweet Treats! Every order is prepared specifically for each customer. Please review the following policies before placing your order.
By paying a deposit or submitting full payment for an order, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.
ORDER INQUIRIES & BOOKING
Submitting an inquiry through our website does not guarantee availability or reserve your requested date.
Your order is considered officially booked only after Pop N Treats V has confirmed your order and availability and the required deposit or full payment has been received.
Orders are accepted based on availability. Dates may fill quickly, particularly during holidays and weekends.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure custom orders unless otherwise stated.
The remaining balance must be paid by the due date provided on your invoice or order confirmation.
Orders are not officially reserved until the required deposit has been received.
If the remaining balance is not received by the required due date, Pop N Treats V reserves the right to cancel the order. The original deposit will remain non-refundable.
Orders placed close to the requested pickup or event date may require payment in full at the time of booking.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Deposits are non-refundable because they reserve your date and allow us to begin planning, purchasing supplies, and preparing for your custom order.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact Pop N Treats V as soon as possible.
Payments made beyond the initial deposit may be refundable at the discretion of Pop N Treats V depending on how much notice is provided, whether ingredients or custom materials have already been purchased, and whether production has begun.
Once production has begun, payments are non-refundable.
ORDER CHANGES
Changes to flavors, quantities, colors, designs, pickup times, delivery information, or other order details are not guaranteed after an order has been confirmed.
Please request changes as early as possible.
Changes may result in additional charges. Pop N Treats V reserves the right to decline a requested change if supplies have already been purchased, production has begun, or there is not enough time to accommodate the request.
CUSTOM DESIGNS & INSPIRATION PHOTOS
Inspiration photos are welcomed and help us understand your desired style.
However, handmade desserts are unique creations. Pop N Treats V does not guarantee an exact reproduction of another baker’s work, an online image, or an inspiration photograph.
Colors, piping, decorations, placement, patterns, flowers, edible images, and other design elements may vary slightly.
We will make reasonable efforts to create a design consistent with the agreed-upon theme, colors, and overall style.
COLORS
Actual colors may vary from photographs, screens, invitations, decorations, or digital color samples.
Dark or highly saturated buttercream colors may temporarily stain the mouth, teeth, or clothing.
PICKUP
Customers are responsible for arriving at the agreed-upon pickup date and time.
Please contact Pop N Treats V as soon as possible if you expect to be late.
Orders that are not picked up at the scheduled time are not eligible for a refund.
Repeated or significant delays may require a new pickup arrangement based on availability.
DELIVERY
Delivery is available for select orders and locations and may require an additional fee.
The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, delivery time, and appropriate contact information.
Once an order has been successfully delivered and accepted by the customer, venue representative, event coordinator, or another authorized individual, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer.
Additional charges may apply for unexpected waiting time, significant changes to the delivery location, or circumstances that require additional delivery attempts.
CAKE & TREAT TRANSPORTATION
For pickup orders, customers are responsible for safely transporting their desserts after receiving them.
Cakes should be transported on a flat, level surface in an air-conditioned vehicle. The floorboard or another secure, level area is generally safer than placing a cake on a seat.
Pop N Treats V is not responsible for damage caused after pickup due to improper handling or transportation, sudden stops or unsafe driving, leaving desserts in a hot vehicle, improper refrigeration or storage, pets or children, dropping or tilting the cake, or exposure to excessive heat, sunlight, humidity, or weather.
Please follow any cake-care or storage instructions provided with your order.
OUTDOOR EVENTS & WEATHER
Buttercream, chocolate, and other dessert products can be affected by heat, direct sunlight, humidity, rain, and other environmental conditions.
Customers are responsible for providing an appropriate environment for desserts after pickup or delivery.
Pop N Treats V cannot guarantee the condition of desserts that are left outdoors or exposed to unsuitable temperatures or weather conditions after they have been transferred to the customer.
ALLERGENS
Products may contain or come into contact with common food allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame.
Customers are responsible for notifying Pop N Treats V of any known food allergies before placing an order.
Although reasonable care may be taken when preparing an order, Pop N Treats V operates in a kitchen where allergens may be present and cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from cross-contact with allergens.
Customers with severe or life-threatening food allergies should consider this information before ordering.
FOOD STORAGE & CONSUMPTION
Customers are responsible for following any storage, refrigeration, serving, or consumption instructions provided with their order.
Pop N Treats V is not responsible for product quality or food-safety issues resulting from improper storage or handling after an order has been transferred to the customer.
DECORATIONS, TOPPERS & NON-EDIBLE ITEMS
Some cakes or treats may include non-edible decorations such as cake toppers, ribbons, dowels, supports, floral picks, or other decorative elements.
These items must be removed when appropriate before serving or consuming the product.
Children should be supervised around products containing small decorative or non-edible pieces.
CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED ITEMS
If a customer provides a topper, decoration, photograph, image, or other item to be incorporated into an order, the customer is responsible for ensuring they have permission to use that material when applicable.
Pop N Treats V is not responsible for the condition, quality, accuracy, or suitability of customer-supplied items.
PHOTOGRAPHS OF OUR WORK
Pop N Treats V may photograph completed cakes and treats for our portfolio, website, or social media pages.
We will make reasonable efforts not to publicly display personal customer information without permission.
If you prefer that your order not be photographed or shared, please notify us before pickup or delivery.
COTTAGE FOOD DISCLOSURE
Pop N Treats V Sweet Treats is a South Carolina home-based food production operation.
Products offered under South Carolina’s Home-Based Food Production Law are prepared and labeled in accordance with applicable requirements.
Required cottage-food disclosures and labeling will be provided on applicable products.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Pop N Treats V will make reasonable efforts to fulfill all confirmed orders.
In the event an order cannot be completed because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including severe weather, power outages, emergencies, illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances — we will communicate with the customer as soon as reasonably possible and determine an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.
CONCERNS WITH AN ORDER
If there is an issue with your order, please contact Pop N Treats V as soon as possible so we have an opportunity to address the concern.
Photos may be requested to help evaluate product or design concerns.
Because our products are perishable and custom-made, concerns should be reported promptly after pickup or delivery.
ACCEPTANCE OF POLICIES
By paying a deposit or submitting full payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to these Order Policies & Terms.
These policies apply to orders placed through our website, social media, direct message, text, or other communication methods unless different terms are agreed to in writing.
